Last week I said that words are not enough. And that’s VERY true! But I hope you didn’t take that to mean that words are not important, because the words you write or speak to others can leave a huge impact and create a lasting memory--either good or bad. So, it's super important to recognize the power of words and choose them wisely.

You see, words can make or break a relationship. Your choice of words, and the way you express yourself, can accelerate or kill your career. Words have power!

As you can expect, many people have written about the power of words. Therefore, I decided today to share a dozen of my favorites quotes from the pool of collective wisdom. Hope these quotations make you stop and measure your words for maximum positive impact.

Remember. . .

Your words have super powers. At work or at home lead with kind and positive words and you will empower others to be their best.

P.S.

At work or at home, the quality of relationships is based on the quality of your communication. You can better use the power of words by asking for Dr. Ada’s Free Communication Guidelines Infographic and Recording which shows you how to use your words to restore effective communication, get out of conflict, and get back to sane and productive dialogue.
